Invisible

I just found out that an artist that I love got signed to a major label. I have watched him over the years, and have always come back to his music on my iPod. It is funny that when you really love something you just always come back to it.

This past week was filled with so much emotion. I went to a memorial, a wedding shower, and did a gig which felt like more of a comedy show. This week was filled with new hope, joy and love, loss of love and deep sadness coupled with sheer frustration. It always amazes me how strong people can be when there is tragedy in their lives. Somehow we can dig deep, and be a present strength in our weakness.

COMFORTABLE WITH VEERING

Your whole entire life you could be disappointed or you could be thankful.  I was talking to this actor the other day that just said he was done being disappointed.  He decided that if he was going to “make it” he would have to quit his job and go to every audition available.  He did and now he is making a living.  He took a chance, a big risk.  HE is thankful that he did it.  It wasn’t just a change of heart though, it was a change in the pattern of the path that would lead him eventually to his goal.
